Ski the Vallée Blanche in Chamonix

In Chamonix, the Vallée Blanche is one of the most wonderful areas of freedom, adventure and excitement... From the top of the Aiguille du Midi (3842m), routes are spetacular, adjusted to the level of skiers, and you can slip through the crevasses and seracs... safely.
 
 

1 - WHEN?
Every day from December to May depending on weather and snow conditions

2 - FOR WHICH SKIER?
The requested level is to get the skis parallel on red runs.

3 - CONSTRAINTS
The Vallée Blance is in a glacier terrain in high mountain at high altitude. Climatic conditions are sometimes harsh and snow conditions are particular to the area. Each day conditions change and the dangers are many (seracs, crevasses, snow bridges, avalanches, wind, cold temperatures). No signaled pathways and it is important to hire a mountain guide for this activity. The guide will share his knowledge of these routes and will choose the best one according to your level of skiing.

• WEEKEND SKI VALLÉE BLANCHE

A weekend to discover the most beautiful glaciers of Mont Blanc.

Possible combination on the Grand Montets, the Pas de Chevre, the Toule and Entrèves Glaciers, Glacier du Géant.

Program:

J 1 / backcountry skiing in the day and then climb to the refuge of Cosmic (3600m) and Torino (3500m) for overnight (half board)
J 2 / descent of the Vallée Blanche and off-piste skiing.

Period: from December to May acrding to the opening of mountain hut but can do this program if you want to stay at your hotel
 

Price for 2 days
- 365 € / person for a group of 3 persons
- 320 € / person for a group of 4
- 300 € / person for a group of 6 to 8 people
Includes: supervision by a mountain guide, loan of security equipment; nights in mountain hut in half-board and ski pass

Beyond: 20 € / person up to 8 participants maximum

Includes: all equipment necessary to ski on a glacier (Harness and avalanches research device)
